I've spent the better part of the last two decades building brands and I have been privileged enough to work on household names at just about every level of a brand’s touch points you can imagine: creative strategy, messaging, branding, collateral design, print advertising, radio, television, outdoor, direct mail, web design, social media, packaging and more. If it has anything to do with how a brand is born, developed and ultimately put out into the world for consumers to engage with, chances are I’ve done it or have managed the teams of talent behind the work.

After all these years, I haven't decided if I'm an art director who can write pithy copy or a writer who can create beautiful layouts. But one thing is for certain, I love the creative process no matter which side of it I happen to find myself on. And as a creative leader, I've helped improve the work of writers and art directors alike. I love working hard and working with like-minded, talented people. When it comes to the process, cracking the nut on a great creative strategy and coming up with unexpected executions are what make my endorphines go bezerk. I believe in big ideas and the power they have to captivate attention, start conversations and ultimately influence consumer behavior.

When I'm not at work, busying myself with brand-building in all its forms, I can be found slicing my drives at Milwaukee area golf courses, biking the Oak Leaf Trail, stuffing my face with anything I can get my hands on, face-planting on my snowboard, trying to grow better greens in my garden, hanging out with my better half at the movies or walking our pooches, chucking a ball down bowling lanes, playing pickleball, and any other playful activities I can get involved in.
